I really like Platinum FMD's images, I really like the bizarre, unbelievable situations he creates digitally. Like for example the octopus in the house. I think it's a really perculiar image that makes you stare at it a while before you really take in what's actually in the picture. These weird images seem to make you think about them for a while too, like the octopus image, once you work out what's happening you see it differently, and start to take in the details of the image as well as whats been created in the picture.

They're a few of these images that are similar to Gale Franey, in that the images look realistic and it's hard to believe that the situation never happened, another similarity it that a few of the images, such as the Platinum's diver with the dolphins looks painted, which is also similar to Franey's images.

I think the lighter with the water would probably be my favourite image, I like the way that even though it's not a normal situation and couldn't really happen, it does look real and plausable. I think that's how digital art/photography, for me, should be, that the artist/photographer/editor should be able to make digitally edited images seem real and that they were taken like that and not digitally edited even though you know it must have been.

The man running is an image that jumped out at me when looking through Platinum's work because again it's a odd sitiuation. I really like the colours--which helped draw my eye to the image, and I really liked the composition because it looks both complicated and busy.
